Australia Day 2022 Dinner for community volunteers in conjunction with Jimboomba Rotary Club and Mununjali First Nations People.
On a Saturday Night in October the Rotary Clubs of Beaudesert, Boonah, Fassifern Valley and Jimboomba Sunrise, combined to put on a Trivia night to support Local Drought Relief in the Scenic Rim Region a large crowd of 100 or so turned out to fill the St Thomas Anglican Church Hall. Rotary International Birthday Celebrations for our Zone of Rotary Clubs in District 9640 one Saturday March with Special Guest Speaker Queensland Author Hugh Lunn. It was a great night with interested Beaudesert Community Members also in attendance. The theme was 1930s to 1970s Queensland with many old magazines on the tables to purchase. A multi draw raffle was conducted with all funds raised are going onto the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for Koala research. The photographs below are some of those taken on the night by Mark McCabe
